Ashley has been teaching dance for over 20 years and has trained at the professional level in ballet, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, tap & musical theatre. Specializing in Classical Ballet she holds Registered Teacher Status with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), through their Certification in Ballet Teaching Studies.
Ashley also spent over a decade working as a professional dancer. Her career took her all over North America, the Caribbean, and parts of Europe. Notably, she danced with the Source Dance Company in Vancouver, Canada, worked as a choreographer for Wyndham Hotel Resorts and Spa in Cozumel, Mexico, and as a dance captain and featured performer for Carnival Cruise Lines.
Before relocating to Las Vegas, NV, Ashley taught ballet and lyrical at Rachel's Ballet (Dublin & Fremont) ages 5 - adult. She has successfully coached dancers through RAD Graded and Vocational Exams, the RAD Dance Challenge, Youth America Grand Prix, and many other dance competitions. Ashley was one of the first teachers to trial the newest RAD syllabus, Discovering Repertoire. Her students were selected to present the syllabus at the RAD Dance Challenge in San Diego, CA in 2017. Ashley also choreographs for wedding dances, birthday parties, and corporate events.
Most recently, Ashley decided she wanted to pursue RAD examinations and received the following:
Grade 7 (2021): Distinction
Grade 8 (2022): High Distinction
Discovering Repertoire, Level II, Variation 1 (2023): High Distinction
Ashley is also a certified Progressing Ballet Technique Teacher (Levels 1 & 2)
